Wanted to come here for a while, I don’t often return to restaurants because living in
Melbourne I could eat out every night till I die and still not try them all but this will now be my go to Italian. Was seated at the gorgeous marble bar by the welcoming staff without a reservation on a busy Friday night, a great spot to watch the open kitchen at work and chat with the service staff who are all confident and friendly. Oysters mignonette is perfection, ordered a few dozen, calamari delicious & I should have asked or begged for some take away focaccia with its whipped butter hi Chef I’ll be back for it. Tortelli was perfect, a taste explosion. See you soon to eat more focaccia (and burrata) and work my way through the menu.
As soon as I entered the door, I felt unwelcome. The waiter should be the boss, giving people the impression that I can't laugh and I am proud, which makes people uncomfortable. This is the only restaurant I have been to that is impolite and not delicious.
It's terrible, the noodles are salty, the direct service is not good, and the service is average.
Nice little hidden gem in Windsor, with its cool black and wood decor. We came on Thursday night and it was really busy so booking is highly recommended. The salumi came with these interesting pillowy fluffy bread pieces that our daughter loves so much. The crudo was amazing, the combination of the sauce and the pickled radish is perfect as an opener to the heavier pasta. Tortelli was hearty but deceivingly gets you full so fast. The risotto is much better in our opinion as it was lighter and the Kombu provides an interesting profile to the dish compared to how it traditionally tasted. Would not say it's child-friendly because it's geared towards you sitting down and drinking for a long period of time.

Had my birthday dinner on Thursday night. The manager called to confirm booking numbers and was so accommodating and overall lovely. The food was exquisite and I genuinely had the most amazing experience. Will 100% be going back and will become my new local place to dine. Highly recommend dining here. We also got the feed me option which was fantastic
So glad I found this little gem of a place! Had dinner here with my friends and we had an amazing experience! The staff were attentive, polite and knew their menu well as they were spot on with their recommendations. The atmosphere was lovely and we were seating close to the kitchen so we could also see the chefs preparing our dishes. Every dish that we had was delicious and I had one of the best mocktails ( cause I was driving) I’ve had in awhile! There is also easy off street parking and we will definitely be back to try the other dishes we didn’t get to on the menu! Definitely recommend to book ahead too! Well done Tipico!
Bought takeaway from the restaurant but the food was a bit bland and didn’t have much flavor to it, the octopus was disappointing portion was tiny and still cost as much as the pastas. Didn’t look anything like the charred octopus they have on social media. Finished in two bites..
A nice cozy Italian restaurant, good ambience. Stephanie is good host who’s helpful and cheerful, thank you!
The food is really good - oysters, kingfish entree, lovely pastas and one should not miss their awesome tiramisu.
The service we had here was absolutely amazinggg. Food was of very high quality. Steph really looked after us and catered for our dietary requirements. Highly recommend!!
